Hello, my name is Stephania. I was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Queens, New York, a few years back. I am majoring in Health Science and hope to be accepted into LaGuardia’s Rad Tech Program. I became interested in the Rad Tech Program because I have always been fascinated by the human body and wondered how our bodies function. Ever since I was young, I have been curious about how medical imaging works and how it helps diagnose and treat patients. The idea of being able to assist in the medical field by using technology to help people has always intrigued me. I am determined to get accepted into the program and make my dream a reality. Spring semester marks my second semester attending LaGuardia, and it has been such a fantastic journey. Although this past semester was a bit tough, it was filled with motivation and learning. I enjoyed the coursework challenges and look forward to gaining more knowledge in the healthcare field as well as other subjects. I am really thankful for the wonderful professors and for getting to meet new people. Outside of school, I have many hobbies that intrigue me—ranging from playing video games, enjoying time spent with family, going out to eat, and being able to cook at home. A favorite dish of mine to make is Rigatoni Fiorentina Pasta. I hope to improve my cooking skills and create more dishes. Overall, I am excited about my academic and personal future and look forward to achieving my dreams.
