Hi everyone, 

My name is Guadalupe Montoya-Guallpa and I came to LaGuardia Community College to study my major in Business Administration because it was close to home, and I’ve seen how it provides numerous opportunities for academic programs, events, a great institution with multiple individuals who can assist me along my path, and an affordable college education. There are so many opportunities, resources, and programs available at LaGuardia Community College, such as fields in Health Sciences, STEM, Business & Technology, and Liberal Arts. There is a great help students can get provided with academic support, financial aid, career services, and student life. I am currently in my second year in college and everything has been going well for me I try my best to manage my time by keeping a hard copy of the syllabus close at hand so I can study and know when to begin each class’s assignment. Be self-motivated since, as an online learner, you must be dedicated to completing the assignments for each class, taking important notes from lectures and/or lessons so I can refer to them later for exam preparation, and emailing your professor for assistance when you run into trouble. Some of my hobbies are watching movies and/or TV shows, sketching, listening to music, working out at the gym, and taking walks with my dog. Three years ago, I welcomed a new family member: my 1115-pound dog, Zeus, who I got when he was just six weeks old. He is currently the biggest, most loving dog. He is a Rottweiler/Boxer mix and the most meaningful gift I have ever received!
